The wedding of Yulia and Igor wedding was celebrated at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, a neo-classical monument overlooking Lincoln Park where the Golden Gate Bridge set the backdrop for their day of matrimony. With a collection spanning more than 6,000 years of ancient and European art; the Legion houses the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts and a dream location to host the perfect wedding.

I had the pleasure of filming Igor playing a piano piece that he wrote as part of his vows to Yulia. We then shot his last shave as a bachelor at The Barber Lounge in SF’s SOMA. Mike my second camera man happened to live on the same block as Yulia which enabled him to get panoramic shots of the city and covering the bridal process of getting ready.

Our team also had the pleasure of working with one of the Bay Area’s best photography teams IQ Photography who collaborated with us like the best. The ‘photo and video’ team effort in documenting of the day went seamless between the on-point coordination of the 2 photographers and our 4 cameras all capturing different people, places and moments all at one time.

This is our Full Feature Highlights option. We use two songs instead of one to tell a much more in depth story of how the couple’s wedding day unfolds.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Liz and Winston until their wedding day. But after I read the little note she wrote in our “Everything we need to know about your wedding questionnaire” I knew they would be a couple I would love to work with.

Liz wrote: “Jesse, let’s just say that I have teared up watching so many of your videos. You truly have a gift and I am so thankful that you are going to be our videographer for the day. Thank you for putting all of this effort in on the front end to ensure our day is captured just right! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching these other videos and I am so confident in your work and already look forward to seeing what you put together for us.”

I have to thank  Liz and Winston for being such troopers to get the shots we needed. Liz taking off her shoes for a jog with us and Winston for letting us get the final crane shot.

Challenges: Hi winds and 747s flying over during the ceremony.

Favorite Shots: Liz running in the grass and the last shot of Liz and Winston using our crane. Beautiful!

When my good friend Libby asked me to shoot her wedding I was honored. Knowing my commitment to film projects and being a good friend for over 10 years she was excited about the prospect of having her wedding day documented like a cinematic event. Libby met Freddie on Match.com and it was love at first sight. Freddie sent a text to his friend while on his first date and told him, “I’m going to marry this girl!”

One year later he did.

The joke going around on their wedding day was that Libby only got married so that I would film her wedding. Libby has been a huge fan of my work since I started and was pumped that I would provide video coverage. When she called me on a Monday morning to ask me to film her
wedding I said, “Of course!!” But then she asked if I would be interested in doing both the video and photography. I paused. First off, I have never have done photo for a wedding, nor have I done both video and photo before. But to help a friend out I took on the challenge.

Libby and Freddie got married at Cathedral Beach inside the park for a beautiful and organic marriage of the elements. I really enjoyed making this film, but boy was it stressful trying to concentrate on providing both still and moving images captures. I really enjoyed making this film in such a gorgeous setting!

These two love birds have an adorable 2 year old son name Joseph, Matt has his own practice and is very fortunate to work everyday with his wife at their office in downtown.Their ceremony and the reception was located at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco where a wonderful time was had by all. Our team wants to thank the Young family and all the hard working vendors that made this wedding so special and beautiful for Sokwen and Matthew!

“I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours. ”

This is our Cinematic Series which is personally my favorite type of package to edit!

I met Sharon and Jack through my good friend from Four Leaf Entertainment who was DJing their wedding. A few months before their wedding we ran into each other at a birthday party and hit it off. It makes all the difference in the world when you have a few drinks with someone and how much you can learn about them in just a few short hours. While sipping on our micro brews, Sharon asked me if I had any ideas that we could film during her wedding day. I said, “Let’s film you inside your favorite bar pouring shots for Jack.” I didn’t think she would take me seriously, but it was actually on the wedding timeline. That then led to the bar owner letting us film on the roof for even more breathtaking shots.

I asked Sharon and Jack, what was most important to them about their wedding day and for us to capture? They said, “The ceremony is important to us. The church is beautiful and we are excited to be exchanging our vows in such a place. And of course, sharing this day with our families. We are also excited to have our reception at Radius, the space suits us perfectly, and it is so close to our home.”

This is our new Short Film Edit (8-10min) that is our most popular package.

I asked Adreahna and Peter what was most important to them for us to capture on their wedding day. They said, “The venue (the view), the things you can’t capture in photos.” So we did just that!

Wedding season is flying by this year! We’ve shot some amazing weddings with a lot of great couples this year. Jackie and Dan were certainly one of them. The beautiful couple got ready at the Le Méridien in San Francisco and the ceremony and reception was held at the Bentley Reserve in downtown. It was nice that everything was so close to each other. During the couples photo shoot we were lucky to get 25 extra minutes with them to shoot some video. What a difference that makes!

After the wedding, Jackie emailed me asking if she could do the two song highlight video which we call the Full Feature Highlight Film. I said, “Heck yeah!” and this is what we created.

Kayla & Geoff I Highlight Series I Rutherford, CA

2 Cameras for the Ceremony
2 Cameras for the Reception
11 hour were spent with the couple

Kayla and Geoff made our job a cinch come their big day to film their wedding at Auberge Du Soleil Winery in Napa, California. The two had a destination wedding from Los Angeles so we were not able to meet them until the big day. But after quick greeting, hugs and handshakes I knew filming them was going to be a breeze. Kayla and Geoff were calm and natural the entire day.

The decor for their wedding was semi-formal, sophisticated, rustic and playful. Kayla chose bright yellow as the predominate color and accents of warm saturated oranges and greens. Her flowers of choice were bright yellow calla lilies, soft white peonies, chartreuse green cymbidium orchids and yellow tulips. The wedding was intimate with just under 70 guests but the energy was big.

We cherish and welcome the the fun and easy going couples!
