Who We Are: Shakewell Studios combines the art of cinema with professionalism and unique story telling. Our wedding films are modern and original capturing emotion, detail and the unique personality of each couple. We work closely with your photographer to create a easy, fun and non intrusive experience!
A little bit about me...
Family: Married to my lovely wife Lea for 6 years and have two kids, Beau and Nyla. We have a hyper bug-eyed Boston Terrier too!!
School: San Francisco State University, BA in Cinema. Good times!!!
How I got into wedding filmmaking: A friend knew I owned a camera and asked me if I could film her wedding in Palm Springs. Later, she had a viewing party to show off her wedding film and cried through the whole video. She told me, "You should do this for a living!" I best advice I ever took. :)
Goals in life: Expand into the wedding photography world. Visit Thailand and perhaps film a wedding while I'm there. Get my wife to second shoot for me! ;)
My Favorite Bands: Lydia (best music I've ever heard), Coldplay, Family of the Year, House Music + so much more!
Something you'd never know about me: My wife and I use to DJ at all the big clubs in SF and were known as The Dirty Duo.
What I Live For: Espresso every morning. My wife's Paleo cooking and the lovely email I get from my couples after they have watched their film!
